Delivering Christmas Cheer in Tough Times, Leading Local Manufacturer Felman Production Donates To Two Local Charitable Organizations Providing Crucial Support To West Virginia Families In Need This Season

Felman Production donated to two local charitable organizations to help local families in need at Christmastime. 

At a time when local families anxiously plan for the holidays in a challenging economic moment, Felman Production's donations will support Bend Area C.A.R.E. (New Haven, WV) and the Mason County Homeless Shelter (Point Pleasant, WV), which provide food, clothing, and other essential services to families in need.

In May 2021 Felman successfully started up upgraded Waste Water Treatment. Plant is designed and installed according to manufacturer recommendations and complies with all requirements for treatment of waste water. Activated sludge type plant, consist of several chambers and recirculation, aeration systems, at the final stage, discharge treated with ultraviolet, fully automatic system with certified operator supervision.

New Cooling Tower installed in June 2021. Cooling tower replaced under capital investment project for improving removal excess heat from furnace elements and provide safe operation. Cooling tower capacity is induced draft, crossflow with vertical discharge, designed capacity 5 000 gal per min, consist of two standalone units with fan motors controlled by variable frequency drives, which allowed system to be run not only maximum effective on cooling circulation water, but with saving energy at the time, when full capacity of cooling is not necessary. Tower is designed and built to ISO 9001 certified standards and complies with energy efficiency requirements established by ASHRAE Standard 90.1-2016.
